For its 30th anniversary exhibition, the Museum of Modern Art, Ibaraki presents 72 works (71 paintings and one sculpture) on loan from the Pola Museum of Art in Hakone. Featuring artists such as Monet, Renoir, Matisse, and Picasso, the exhibition is organized into three sections: (1) The Birth of Impressionism: Monet and Renoir, (2) The Liberation of Color: From Cezanne to Fauvre, and (3) Adventures in Form: Picasso and Braque.
