Artists

Natsuko Isaka
Natsuko Isaka started out by using clay to give shape to her ideas, this instinctive slant toward movement informing her subsequent artistic practice. As she continues to produce work and evolve towards a mature style, this initial approach remains unfettered by art education. Though her expressive methods are diverse, including assemblages, stone painting and mask making, this exhibition will focus on copperplate prints. See how Isaka depicts woman-like creatures by combining free drawing with etching and aquatint techniques to produce copperplate prints.
