With carefully layered concepts at their core, Katsuya Sugimoto creates paintings of distinct color and precise realism. For this exhibition, the palettes will be evenly hung throughout the space. At first glance, all of the palettes seem like nothing out of the ordinary. However, a closer look reveals that half are actual palettes while the remaining are painted palettes.
