Mari Maeda
In recent years painter Mari Maeda has been expanding the range of her activities as an artist, making stage appearances and working on set design as well as teaching at elementary and junior high schools. In this solo exhibition she introduces more than 30 new works, including pieces depicting boys playing music and girls holding tulips, both of which are classic themes in her practice.
