“‘Wall of the Sun’ Revival Projection Mapping” will take place during the “Taro Okamoto in the Town - The World of Public Art” exhibition which is being held from 8/11 (Sat) until 9/24 (Mon). Through projection mapping, the event will recreate a modern version of the lost Okamoto masterpiece “Wall of the Sun”. Production and music are by Kotaro Saito and colleagues of Tama Art University’s Department of Information Design. The project is overseen by P.I.C.S. creative director and Tama Art University Department of Information Design specially-appointed professor Hironori Terai, who has been involved in projection mapping for Tokyo Station and Tokyo Big Site.
