Artists

Tatsuo Kotaki
This is an exhibition of black and white photographs taken over four summers from 2014-2017 during which Tatsuo Kotaki, a photographer who continues to focus on Europe, traveled the UK. The monochrome prints capture the beautiful harmony of the intersecting soft light and shadows of the all too brief British summers. The shots were captured from all over the UK including Blackpool, Liverpool, Brighton, the Lake District, Cornwall, Yorkshire, Cotswolds, and Wales.

Simultaneous Exhibition (First Floor Exhibition Room) “Journey through the past”
Exhibiting not yet shown photos from a collection of negatives shot in the UK from 1984 to 1995. The photos track the long relationship between Kotaki and the UK. Around 40 monochrome (gelatin silver print) works to be exhibited.
