Aki Moriyama
Aki Moriyama (b. 1991) graduated from the Tokyo University of the Arts Painting Department and is currently enrolled in the graduate school. New works in her ‘Icon’ series portray the idea that “Other people are like low-resolution icons. When we encounter them, we divide them into broad categories and subjects such as gender, age, race, background, and profession.”
