Kyoung Min creates infinite movement and sound by expressing scenes and emotions as words (letters) and dropping those words into water. The movement and sound of water is intertwined with space and time. This could be said for the relationship between sculpture and space. Kyoung Min was moved to create by the wonderful and strange expression and shape of water. Having long held an interest in the volume or sense of weight that exists in sculpture the artist has developed a style of expression using stainless steel. Kyoung Min has created a distinct expression that melts and flows like water with no beginning or end. By visualizing sound and movement, the artist has challenged a conversation between the viewer and the sculpture.
