Machiko Miroko
Machiko Miroko made her debut as a picture book author with “Okami ga tobu hi (The Day Wolves Fly)” (2012), which received the Japan Picture Book Award. Her works born of a unique sense of color, expression and rich linguistic sensibility have been awarded coveted accolades both in Japan and overseas.
In this exhibition, Miroko will introduce more than 150 items, including large format pieces, paintings, assemblages and original illustrations that are among some of her best known works.
