Exhibiting mid-20th century paintings from Japan and America by Yasuo Kuniyoshi and Toshi Shimizu from the Fukutake Collection. Kuniyoshi and Shimizu were both foreign-trained Japanese artists whose lives and works took radically different directions during the wartime era.
