Shiseido Art Egg is an open invitation art exhibition started in 2006 to promote and support the development of up-and-coming artists. Selected artists work in close collaboration with curators and staff to create their exhibitions. This 12th exhibition saw 350 applicants with over 70 percent in their 20s and 30s. This year also saw its share of unique proposals that took advantage of the Shiseido Gallery space. Yuma Tomiyasu was amongst the three selected for exhibition. His work is a large-scale installation covering multiple rooms.
