Musee Hamaguchi Yozo / Yamasa Collection
Finished

Artists

Yozo Hamaguchi, Carolina Raquel Antich, Fuyuki Maehara, Kisho Mukaiyama
Presenting the work of pioneering color mezzotint printmaker Yozo Hamaguchi and three contemporary artists. Carolina Raquel Antich paints young boys and girls against largely empty backgrounds. Fuyuki Maehara’s sculptures combine humor with a nonchalant sense of the everyday. Kisho Mukaiyama depicts light in paintings and wax pieces. These artists’ works and Hamaguchi’s prints of cherries and other familiar motifs stir the viewer’s memories.
