Yayoi Kusama
Yayoi Kusama is a top contemporary artist who has spent her career continuing to depict a fantastical world using watercolors, pastels, oil paint and various other media, utilizing polka dot and mesh pattern motifs that she discovered back in early childhood. She received the Order of Culture in 2016, more than 520,000 people visited her “Yayoi Kusama: My Eternal Soul” exhibition held from February 22, 2017 at the National Art Center, Tokyo, and she even opened her own Yayoi Kusama Museum in Shinjuku, Tokyo on October 1 last year. Here you can see a variety of print works by the prominent artist.
