The DeSs design study sessions were launched in response to the Olympic logo incident of 2015, which raised various design-related issues such as imitation, creative processes, agencies, and competitions. So far notable graphic designers including Taku Satoh, Shin Sobue, and Atsuki Kikuchi have spoken at these events. The tenth session welcomes Kaoru Kasai as speaker.
