Akiko Goto
Akiko Goto has spent the last 10 years thinking through the acts of knitting, burning, cutting out and melting, continuing to find inspiration for her next works in this way. A selection of two-dimensional pieces that feature lines akin to the warp threads of textiles will be on exhibit here. The works originate from cloth installations that Goto traced with charcoal and then replaced with color.
