Kenichiro Mizuno
Artist Kenichiro Mizuno will hold Microfiction 2018, his first exhibition in three years from 5/19 (Sat). Using a wide range of mediums including drawing, painting, graphic, animation, etc. Mizuno has reconceptualized TV animation to create scenes that straddle the line between deja vu and that which has yet to be seen. Although his work tells television cartoon-like stories, their fragmented nature constantly leaves the viewer feeling out of place. This exhibit presents 10 new canvas paintings by the artist. Meanwhile, 100 drawings will also be presented as fragments, connected by written descriptions explaining their connection to each other.
