This collection of 30 photos, including rare vintage silver gelatin prints, captures world renown artists such as such as Picasso and Dali and numerous sculptors, printers, photographers, poets, novelists, playwrights, directors, actors, singers, ballet dancers, and jazz players. These portraits of these famous artists are not limited to requested portrait sessions but many are the result of friendships between the artists and accomplished photographers such as Jeanloup Sieff and Lucien Clergue and capture the thoughts and lifestyles of their subjects.
