Mina Arakaki
Tokyo leaves a strong impression with its skyscrapers, large structures, vast crowds, and heavy traffic. On the other hand, within the metropolis are residential areas where houses and trees coexist. This exhibition showcases artwork that focuses on these spaces Mina Arakaki has created artwork based on things discovered in her daily life, depicting both the dark and the light. The artist paints not only gorgeous and beautiful night views but also lived-in looking windows and old houses. Arakaki attempts to focus on things that are frequently overlooked, to capture the movement of people and society, and to represent their inner world and thoughts.
