Founded in 1934, the Wild Bird Society of Japan is a nature conservation organization with over 50,000 members. With 89 chapters throughout Japan, the volunteer-based membership engages in various conservation activities and bird watching events. This exhibition will showcase photographs taken by society members from all over Japan. The theme of the exhibition is “Birds and Japan’s Landscapes”. From rugged outdoor locations to cities full of people, the photos capture birds in various environments.
