Artists

BIEN
Bien is an artist who makes drawings with little awkward lines that trace a certain kind of shape, some generated from letters and signs and others born out of imagining manga and animation characters. The title of this exhibition, “Woozy Wizard,” reminds us of scenes from fairy tales or animations we read or saw when we were children. The story is: an immature wizard tries to make something appear, but it ends up being something undesired because his skill is not sufficient. This title represents the style of Bien, who creates new things with vague forms.
