Mark Louisse “Eclectic Maybeland”

Over The Border

poster for Mark Louisse “Eclectic Maybeland”

Ends in 16 days

The first solo exhibition in Japan for the Amsterdam-based artist Mark Louisse is named after his painting style and feeling. “Eclectic” stands for his cocktail of styles, ideas, and painting techniques. “Maybeland” is his own fantasy, “his own world,” but maybe another person will create a different fantasy and world while looking at the same painting. Two of Louisse’s collections with Dutch and Japanese-based elements are on display.
