In the last ten years, Asia has advanced rapidly in a variety of fields, garnering attention internationally. As climate, living conditions, and regional society undergo changes on a global scale, Asian society is facing its own unique issues. In this context, design has become more important than it has ever been. Design-based solutions that incorporate design thinking and a human-centric approach to problem-solving are key to increasing the happiness of urban society and improving economic welfare. This exhibition introduces the work of the Hong Kong Design Center and exhibits the work of the 2017 Asian Design Prize winners and some of the 2016 to 2017 Hong Kong Young Design Talent Award winners.
