Artists

Takuma Sato, Gottingham
Takuma Sato (b. 1989, Miyagi prefecture) is an artist who attempts to physically manifest experience and ideas through conceptual exchanges, slippage and various approaches. His first solo exhibition, also titled “WYSASSS,” meaning “When You See the Acrylic to See a Stone a Stone,” was held at circle & gallery in 2017. His body of work also titled “WYSASSS” (2012) interpreted modern architecture through models utilizing stone and acrylic materials.
Here photographer Gottingham - the curator of this exhibition - presents a paranormal take on the world by collaborating with Sato to give his works and projects an original spin.
This exhibition is comprised of a group of photographic works that update Sato’s “WYSASSS” series.
