What if there were such a thing as “pottery ware” to pour poems into, what shape and color would these vessels come in? Five ceramic artists have responded to this question here.
In order to do this they have each selected a poetic work from “Kanohito,” a newly translated poetry anthology by up-and-coming poet Bin Sugawara that features the classic works of greats such as Nietzsche and Ono no Komachi. See how each of the artists has visualized the words of these thinkers.
This project will be held at IBE (www.ibetokyo.com) and Ginza Tsutaya Books concurrently. The online exhibition at IBE starts at 21:00 on March 23.
