Andy Ayaka Yamamoto has lived together with her grandpa who suffers from dementia for three years. Wondering whether our “today” is still ours tomorrow, she explores how we might prove that what we experience isn’t just a fairy-tale. Here she presents pieces that examine the work of the “eternal memory.” Cherishing memory that will gradually fade, she represents an ephemeral wish (power) of protection.
