Harar is an old walled city in Ethiopia which has been a trading center between East Africa and outside world. The city features maze-like alleys and randomly painted walls. French poet Arthur Rimbaud also once lived in Harar as a merchant for some time in his short life. The photographs of this exhibit present daydream-like memories of colorful alleys and an abstract world inspired by the hyenas that appear at night in the city.
