The series ‘History on paper’ examines the value and history of famous works of art. For the 5th installment of the series, the spotlight shines on internationally renown artist Tomoo Gokita. His exhibit at Kawamura Memorial DIC Museum of Art in 2014 is still fresh in people’s memories and this April a large-scale exhibit of Gokita’s work will be held at Tokyo Opera City Art Gallery. The exhibition for the series will feature collage style drawings with stark black and white gradations.
