Haritorn Akarapat
First exhibition by acclaimed Thai sculptor Haritorn Akarapat. Vanitas is a series of works mixing painting and bronze sculptures expressing the ephemerality of life, the emptiness of pleasure, inevitability of death. A graduate of Thailand’s esteemed Silpakorn University, Akarapat has developed a unique method that takes advantage of the green and blue hues of bronze. His works combine sculpting and painting to awaken primordial emotions in those who view them.
