Hisham Akira Bharoocha
New York-based artist Hisham Akira Bharoocha is an American artist born to a Japanese mother and Burmese father who spent his childhood growing up in a diverse array of cities including Tokyo, Toronto, Los Angeles, and San Diego. Bharoocha’s work combines painting with collages of photographs taken by the artist and images from magazines and books.
