Ryuta Kashiwamoto
Ryuta Kashiwamoto is a painter who was the recipient of the 2003 Nichido Art Foundation Award. In addition to his now familiar “Instruments & Figures” series, he has recently been pursuing horses as a motif for his work. Although the two motifs may seem disparate, they have in common elements of “life and movement”, “focus and tension”, and “sound and rhythm”. This exhibition will feature 30 new works from the large-scale such as No. 150 to smaller-scale pieces.
