In this collaboration with Gallery B, which marks the first time the gallery has worked with a ceramic artist, Takuro Kuwata presents unique pieces that can be appreciated not only as contemporary artworks, but also as objects for everyday use.
Kuwata began working with ceramics in his teens, creating works based on a traditional approach before developing his own style in later years. Though his bold and beautiful works have become internationally popular, the artist senses a degree of incompatibility with seeing his works purely in terms of art and has used this opportunity to explore the “use of artworks.”
