Takahiko Kaino is a painter based in Matsuyama, Ehime Prefecture whose work also encompasses live performance, TV, commercials, writing, and other projects. This exhibition focused on the relationship between light and the eye relates to Hiroshige Utagawa’s ukiyo-e prints of famous Edo sights, offering a “homeland of light” for people living today.
