In the mid-20th century Jean Tinguely established himself as a master of kinetic art, a movement that focused on natural and humanmade sources of power in moving artworks, which Tinguely assembled from scrap materials and common items. Exploring various expressions of motion and stillness, this exhibition introduces works from the Hara Museum collection by artists who came after Tinguely. Additionally, new works from Taro Izumi’s exhibition in Paris last year are also featured.
