Yoshihiro Suda “Mite Clematis”

The Vangi Sculpture Garden Museum
Finished

Artists

Yoshihiro Suda
Yoshihiro Suda carves elaborate wooden sculptures of flowers and plants, creating installations with natural colors from magnolia trees. His artistic process may appear simple at first glance, but the intricacy of these works able to convince that they are actual flora raises questions about what it means to view a work of art. The Vangi Sculpture Garden at Clematis no Oka presents Suda’s clematis flowers and other carvings in a garden boasting more than 2000 clematis plants, letting you enjoy both art and nature.
