The Taguchi Art Collection owned by entrepreneur Hiroshi Taguchi is one of Japan’s premier collections of contemporary art. Boasting more than 400 pieces, it includes works by leading artists practicing both locally and globally. This exhibition offers an introduction to contemporary art through the Taguchi collection with a focus on works created since the year 2000, exploring questions of expression, identity, ethnicity, and gender through pieces ranging from Warhol’s advertisement-like works through animation.
