Kojiro Kosugi
Kojiro Kosugi (b. 1944) established himself as a leader of Japanese contemporary oil painting with poetic portrayals of landscapes and still lifes featuring rich colors. He also produced mineral pigment paintings, glass art, sculpture, ceramics, and other works. This exhibition presents 43 of his oil paintings with a focus on new works, including a narrative painting inspired by “The Emperor’s New Clothes.”
