Daido Moriyama “Ango”

Poetic Scape
Finished

Artists

Daido Moriyama
Daido Moriyama’s jet-black photographs of blossoming cherry trees and the story “In The Cherry Forest, Beneath Flowers in Full Bloom,” an outstanding masterpiece by writer Ango Sakaguchi, intersect and stimulate each other in the space of a single book, designed by Satoshi Machiguchi.
Located in Tokyo’s Nakameguro district, an area famous for its beautiful cherry trees, Poetic Scape becomes the space in which Daido Moriyama’s cold, empty cherry trees will briefly blossom while Spring’s first soft breezes warm the streets outside.
