Gaumont, founded in 1895, is the world’s oldest film production company. It has continued to spotlight fresh cinematic talent while playing the role of the vanguard of French film for more than 120 years. Institut français du Japon – Tokyo presents posters and screenings of famous scenes from the Gaumont archives, which contain more than 1,000 films.
