Artists

Bridget Riley
British artist Bridget Riley is known for her abstract paintings that employ geometric patterns to produce optical vibrations. Riley began her career in the style of Georges Seurat following early artistic studies largely informed by the Old Masters before striking out in her own direction. Riley’s first exhibition in Japan in 38 years features around 30 works, including important black and white pieces from the 1970s, striped works from the 1970s, curve paintings from the 1990s, and her more recent wall paintings.
