This exhibition is divided into four selections. The first selection consists of works by cubist artist Pablo Picasso and surrealist Paul Delvaux, along with contemporary Japanese works. The second selection is of Nihonga donated from the Okuma-ka collection including works by Taikan Yokoyama and Kansetsu Hashimoto. The third selection introduces the collected works of western style painters from Saitama prefecture including Manjiro Terauchi, Makoto Takada, and Shoichiro Nushi. The fourth selection focuses on Katsuro Yoshida and the story behind the creation of his work “650 Watts and 60 Watts”.
