This event has ended.

More than just a pottery artist, Hiroyuki Tomita has shown an interest in architecture, painting, sculpting, and more. In particular, his collaborations with Hanaike have been particularly fruitful and his work in this sphere has garnered much attention from flower artists. This exhibition once again spotlights Hanaike while adding the theme “purple” to Tomita’s work. With its abundant use of gold and silver, the work goes beyond traditional pottery while still focusing on purple as the star of the work. The title “Purple Vain” is a play on Prince’s “Purple Rain”.
