Priit Pärn
On exhibit are a series of 14 illustrations by the renown Estonian cartoonist and animator Priit Pärn for “Kilplased” a story about the comical residents of a village. The conversation piece or groups of figures posed in landscape settings, drawn in the style of the Dutch Renaissance painter Pieter Bruegel, are constructed as a series of connected actions. The multiple motifs appearing simultaneous are a vivid reminder of Pärn’s animated works.
