The subtitle to ‘Today’s Art’, published in 1954 when Taro Okamoto was 43 years old, asks “Who will create our era?” The Taro Okamoto Award for Contemporary Art (Taro Award) is an award that continues to ask this question. For this 23rd award, the panel chose the work of 23 artists out of 452 submissions.
