Jimmy Mirikitani
An exhibition that explores the lasting impact of violence and the endurance of humanity through the works and life of a unique artist, Jimmy Mirikitani (1920-2012), a homeless painter discovered by the director Linda Hattendorf in New York. On display are 30 artworks by Mirikitani, including pictures and panels about the Tule Lake internment camp, Hiroshima, and September 11.
