During the late-Taisho through early Showa eras, bulletin boards at schools, stations, stores, and other places around town were used as “photo news” spots to spread information through high-impact visuals and explanatory texts from newspapers and media outlets.This exhibition presents around 200 examples of these postings during the wartime and postwar eras.
