Dan Isomura “My Emergency Preparation Goods”
Ends in 4 days
The Ginza Tsutaya Bookstore Art Party series introduces creators on the art scene to watch. Dan Isomura’s works range from oil and acrylic paintings to cement sculptures, ceramics, and video. After graduating from Tokyo University of the Arts, he joined the Genron Chaos*Lounge New Art school and finished with the Gold Prize. Since 2017, he has held solo shows in Tokyo and London and participated in Nakama de Art. While his work may seem chaotic at first, it deals with Buddhist and religious themes about life and death and contemporary issues such as gender and globalization. “My Emergency Preparation Goods” includes new work and introduces new concepts, confronting the elements of decision-making and taking a humorous look at the Categorical Imperative.
