Keiko Minami, Yozo Hamaguchi
The work of Keiko Minami (1911-2004) features copper engravings composed of numerous delicate lines. A painter and children’s tale writer since high school, following the war the Toyama-born Minami dedicated herself to copper engraving after meeting Yozo Hamaguchi. Highly regarded worldwide, her work depicting birds and young girls has been featured in Unicef publications. This exhibition showcases 50 copper engravings by Minami, in addition to 10 engravings by Yozo Hamaguchi.
