For the third installment of its Natural History Series, the JP Tower Museum Intermediatheque is holding a special exhibition of scientific equipment from the former Fourth Higher School (currently Kanazawa University). This scientific equipment, which is conserved both by the Kanazawa University Museum and the Ishikawa Prefectural Museum of Natural History, constitutes one of Japan’s largest collections. A selection of items that stand out from a formal point of view are presented here for reexamination in terms of their value as works of design.
