Since antiquity artists have sought out adventures and challenges to forge their own unique styles. Focusing on large-scale works from the Hara Museum Collection – notably, five by Tadanori Yokoo and seven by Miwa Yanagi – this exhibition explores the creative escapades of artists from the past several decades with the initial ‘Y’ in their names. Arata Isozaki will debut a reproduction of Yokoo’s “Sengo” (Postwar) as a frame installation. There will also be a special “Meet the Artist” session with Yokoo.
