This event has ended.

In addition to the annual showing of Pine Trees in the Snow, this exhibition will mark the first year of the Reiwa Era by exhibiting pieces of the museum’s collection related to the emperor and the imperial family. The center of the exhibition are the tea utensils used by the Mitsui family for the tea they prepared for the Meiji emperor at the Kyoto Exposition held in 1887 at the Kyoto Imperial Palace. Other valuable items of the imperial family along with paintings by members of the Mitsui family will also be on display.
